Joan E. Maloof is a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland, 21801. She has an active interest in botany, especially native plant identification. She is studying plant-animal interactions with an emphasis on the role of bumblebee nectar robbers, and teaches courses such as Biology 101: Fundamentals of Biology, Biology 210: Biology Concepts and Methods, Biology 399: International Field Studies and Environmental Issues 102: Earth Literacy. |
