Mason Virtual Computing Lab

The Virtual Computing Lab is designed to supplement existing campus computer labs. It provides an online, virtual computing environment that allows all faculty and students to select and use academic software resources regardless of their physical location or the time of day. Users will login, select the desired software and/or operating environment, schedule a time for use, and remotely connect from any location to the appropriate virtual machine(s) at the scheduled time.

• 24/7 access to all virtual computing systems from both on and off of Mason's campuses
• Full, administrative access to selected virtual computing environments
• Improved ease of access to software tools by students at all of Mason's campuses
• Extended availability of specialty software to a greater target audience
